Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This policy explains what Hoxyd stores in your browser. The short version: only what is strictly necessary to run the service. We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers, and our analytics are cookieless — which is why you don't see a cookie consent banner on Hoxyd.
Strictly necessary storage
These items are required for the service to work (signing in, remembering your preferences). Under EU rules (ePrivacy Directive), strictly necessary storage does not require consent.
- Session (
hoxyd_sb,hoxyd_user) — keeps you signed in between visits. Stored in your browser's local storage; removed when you sign out. - Preferences (
hoxyd_lang,hoxyd_sidebar) — your dashboard language and layout choices. - Your workspace (favorites, recent tools, drafts, tool history — stored per account) — lives only on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can erase it anytime from Settings → Account → "Clear all my data".
Analytics — cookieless
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic (pages viewed, country of origin). It sets no cookies, stores no identifier on your device, and cannot follow you across websites. Data is anonymous and aggregated.
Payment pages
When you subscribe, the checkout happens on Stripe's secure pages (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe may set its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention — see Stripe's cookie policy.
What we never use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media pixels.
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- No sale of browsing data to third parties.
Managing storage
You can inspect or delete everything Hoxyd stores through your browser settings (usually under "Site data" or "Storage"). Deleting the session storage simply signs you out; deleting workspace data removes your local favorites and drafts.
Changes
If we ever introduce storage requiring consent, we will add a consent banner and update this page before doing so.
